Enhancer experiment description: | we searched for and identified a putative enhancer region located 13.8 kb downstream from the TSS of DHRS4-AS117,18. We performed chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) to confirm the enrichment of histone modifications in hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HepG2) and normal hepatocytes (HL7702) (Fig. 1D). We then examined the potential enhancement of luciferase reporter activity by using luciferase reporter assays in HepG2 and HL7702 cells (Fig. 1E). |
