RING1B was recruited to regions targeted by transcription factors and its depletion deregulated breast cancer signaling pathways as well as FOXA1 and ERα localization to chromatin, we next hypothesized that RING1B regulates transcriptional programs in breast cancer by orchestrating chromatin accessibility. To test this, we performed transposase-accessible chromatin sequencing (ATAC-seq)35 in RING1B-depleted cells.These results indicate that RING1B depletion affects chromatin accessibility at enhancer regions.
