We confirmed the induction of the senescence phenotype in these cells by evaluation of cell cycle arrest, expression of senescence markers p16, p21, and p53 and senescence‐associated β‐galactosidase (SA‐β‐gal) staining. Treatment with etoposide induced cell cycle arrest in these cells. |
