There was a significant decrease in the expression of msh2, msh6, and ogg1 transcripts in CLU?/? bleomycin-challenged mice compared to CLU?/? saline-control mice . Moreover, there was a significant decrease in msh6 in CLU?/? compared to wildtype mice following bleomycin challenge at Day 28. There was an increase in whole lung p21 and IL1? proteins and KC transcript expression in the bleomycin-challenged CLU?/? compared with their wildtype counterparts at this time point. |
