We also observed that PTX greatly reduces the senescence induced by ADR, since the percentage of senescence found in PTX + ADR treated cultures of HeLa cells (senescence = 26.6 ± 4.4%) and SiHa cells (senescence = 24.4 ± 6.7%) represents a diminution of 2.5 and 2.7 folds in relation to the ADR treated group (p < 0.001 for both groups). PTX, ADR or their combination did not induce senescence in HaCaT cells. |
