After 4 d of 4OHT treatment, many of the cells had undergone the characteristic morphological changes of senescence and stained positive for senescence-associated (SA) β-galactosidase (SA-β-gal) activity . Most of the cells that were morphologically senescent contained APBs, Triple staining for BrdU, p21, and TRF1 revealed that most of the APB-positive cells were p21 positive and BrdU negative . |
