To investigate whether our findings regarding TF inducibility were present in other forms of senescence, we exposed young HUVECs to 200 mM H2O2 for 2 h. This invoked stress-induced premature senescence (SIPS), which was manifested by growth arrest and positive staining for SA-β-gal in about 50% of cells . |
