Under the same light intensity, the ageing rate of RPE cells was significantly (p < 0.01) higher in the presence than in the absence of DHA .Light exposure at 3500 lux for 24 h in the presence of 25 lM DHA increased the percentage of senescent cells from 49.7% ± 4.6% to 68.3% ± 1.5%. |
