Flow cytometry |
| Description: |
Cigarette smoke (CS) is known to cause mitochondrial dysfunction leading to cellular senescence in lung cells.Using an in vitro lung epithelial cellular senescence model, CSE treatment every alternate day for 15 days in SAEC cells showed significantly reduced mitochondrial membrane potential (TMRE), and increased MitoTracker green (mitochondrial mass), and MitoSOX red staining (mtROS) confirmed by FACS-enabled flow cytometry. |
