We tested the influence of this compound in human breast cancer MCF 7 cell line and human osteosrcoma U2OS cell line. Both cell lines underwent cellular senescence as revealed by increased activity of SA-β-gal as well as the induction of the p53 and p21 proteins detected in Western blot analysis. |
