| Pathway description: |
Our results showed that pretreatment with lactoferrin increased the hydrogen peroxide-induced phosphorylation of Akt compared with only hydrogen peroxide treatment. In addition, treatment of PI3K/Akt inhibitor, Wortmannin decreased the lactoferrin-induced inhibition of ROS generation or cell survival in hydrogen peroxide-treated hMSCs. |
