Pathway description: The p53 and p21 mRNA levels were significantly increased after treatment of WM9 cells with simvastatin at the concentrations of 0.25 and 1 μmol/L .We observed an increased expression of phospho-p53 and p21 protein levels in WM9 cells treated with simvastatin , which are in agreement with RT-qPCR data .
