| Description: | The cell-cycle profile analysis after 24 h serum deprivation revealed a significant increase in the number of ENO1-silenced cells in G2/M phase, a concomitant decrease of cells in G1 phase and no difference in the number of cells in S phase .there was a decrease in expression of the negative regulator of the cyclin D/CDK complex p18 (INK4C) after ENO1 silencing. ENO1-silenced cells showed characteristic morphological changes, such as enlargement and flattening, which were indicative of cellular senescence, confirmed by β-galactosidase staining . |
