| Description: | The expression of Activate PI3K evidently modified EC morphology by dramatically increasing average cell size.Indeed the expression of Activate PI3K, both H1047R and E545K mutants, increased the amount of β-galactosidase positive cells.We measured DNA replication rates by means of EdU incorporation assay. EC-H1047R and EC-E545K showed higher DNA replication rates, which were particularly elevated when EC were stimulated with VEGF-A. |
