| Description: | Decreased cell proliferation in Doxo- or IR-treated cells was partially recovered by XAF1 downregulation. Repression of XAF1 levels in senescent cells caused morphological changes similar to young cells and a decrease in SA-β-gal activity. Additionally, XAF1 downregulation in premature senescent cells decreased the population of cells in the G1 phase and increased the population of cells in the S and G2/M phases. |
