| Description: | The percentages of β-Gal staining (+) cells (senescent cells) were significantly higher in DU145 and PC3 cells overexpressing STIM1-YFP, ORAI1 and ORAI1-STIM1-YFP than in the corresponding controls.We observed a low growth rate in DU145-ORAI1, DU145-STIM-YFP and DU145-Orai-STIM1-YFP cells, indicating that STIM1 and ORAI1 have inhibitory effects on cell proliferation.We found that DU145 and PC3 cells overexpressing STIM1-YFP, ORAI1 and ORAI1-STIM1-YFP were enriched in the G0/G1 phase and that the percentage of these cells in the G2/M phase was significantly reduced. |
