| Description: | HDAC7 knockdown by all the three pairs of oligos significantly decreased the proportion of cells in S phase and increased G0/G1 cell proportion, indicating a G1/S cell cycle arrest. Congruent with the above findings, HDAC7-silenced cells revealed a significant loss of BrdU labeling (16.9%) compared with the control cells (33.2% of BrdU incorporation), suggesting a reduced entry into S phase.HDAC7 silencing markedly elevated the SA-β-Gal activity in HeLa cells (from 0.9% to 16.8%) and MCF-7 cells (from 7.8% to 27.1%). |
